It's 3am Melbourne time and I have been playing vids of Damien's performances since I downloaded them about 10pm.
The more I watch and listen the more astounded moved. and overjoyed I become..(some might say obsessive!)...Words fail me to truly express how gorgeous, heartfelt and powerful they were. Truly sublime. Damien, Eileen and their family must be blissfully happy. I know I am.

OMG OMG OMG! How awesome was Damien last night? Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee lol. BACK TO BACK TOUCHDOWNS?! HELL YES! I just knew he was gonna be great, I could feel it! You shoulda seen me afta he got his second touchdown, lol. I was screaming louder than all the Dean girls in the audience put together! EEEEEEEK he was so amazing! He’s setting records already! Sorry, its just I’m so excited *jumps* Yes, I’m a Damien fangirl *blushes* He better win, I want his album for my birthday! ( I’m 15 in December) lol.
I’m actually listening to his version of “Hallejulah” on my computer while I’m typing…..*sigh* Ok I’ll shut up now, lol.

Holy smokes.  Having gotten over the excitement of last night... almost, I'm listening to the mp3s now. And those songs were even better than I remember. His voice - perfect. I've been watching and obsessing over Damien's performances since his first audition and even I didn't realise he could sing like that. No matter how many times I listen to 'Crying', I nearly fall off my chair when he breaks into the falsetto. Heck, I'd kill for a voice like that, and I think a lot of professional singers would too. But it's not all about the high notes, because the rest of his voice is beautiful too. If I could, I would present him to all the Idol baggers. Yes, it does produce phenomenal talent, and this is undeniable proof. THIS is what I love about this show. Yes, he had so better win this and release a CD, because it's on my Christmas list too. And I'm going to put my money where my mouth is to make sure that happens. But there's no doubt in my mind that Damien is safe next week - in fact, that he's ensured himself a place in the final with those performances. I'm voting like crazy anyway, to ease my mind, and I hope everyone else will too, but he is there as far as I'm concerned. Okay. I've got that out of my system now.  I think everyone will forgive and understand my hysterics. Now, off to get those videos. ;D |

HAHA Still think he was brilliant!!! i had to download the songs shove them on my MP3 and had them on repeat all night and so far all day!!! Dad is still in awe over Crying and so is mum - they were like Roy Orbison is so hard to imitate but Damien just did his own!!!
Mums in love!! haha shes harmless to Eileen lol!!!!

I downloaded the mp3s last night and I'm downloading the videos right now! I still can't get over how amazing those performances were, .. even though I knew beforehand that they would be awesome.. I was still gobsmacked |

Oh wouldn't it be wonderful when he releases he's cd that we all rushed out to buy it and image them presenting him with his first Gold record!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All I can say is Damien you better do a concert in Brisbane!!!!!!!!!!

i missed the show last night so my awesome fiance downloaded it for me this morning iv just finished watching and OMG wow damo was f**king awesome hehe i fast forwarded past all the others  |
