nooooooo!.....I like it here..with all our pretty and siggys...and I have just worked out how to make one too..  Will have to join the other one though so as we can keep showing our support... can't wait to buy the new single ..... ;D |

Phew guys, that was a palava getting back in here, I wondered what the heck was going on, so went through the routine & I couldnt get back in as Well, so had to be Welly, now Im confused about the other site etc.
Anyway, my heart is bursting with happiness right now, I wont sleep thats for sure, my sis came over to watch with me and we were on the edge of our seats. He is a magnificent human being, wasnt he soooooooooo gorgeous and cute when he won and was speechless, bless his heart.
My catchcry of DAMIEN LEITH FOR WORLD DOMINATION is starting to come into fruition
Congrats all Damienites for keeping the faith.

It was inevitable that Sony would have an official website for Damien up and running ASAP. It's not a bad thing and we still have the wonderful home here that Neski and Murf have created. Damien and Eileen are sure to pop in here from time to time as well. I've registered on the new site but I'm having trouble posting anything at the moment. I'll wait a while and try again later.
One thing I do want to point out is about the snagging of graphics etc. from the official site. It is an absolute no no (read the terms and conditions). Those pics are copyright to SonyBMG and they just may enforce their copyright if they find that people are snagging their graphics. I do have a fair knowledge of copyright laws (having had some of my own graphics knocked off and passed off as those of someone else). We may assume that using the SonyBMG graphics here on the forum is of no harm mainly because we are not using them in a commercial venture or for profit but just be aware that they are copyrighted material. Removing the owner's watermark from a graphic is also an infringement of copyright. Boring stuff I know but please be careful.

I just wanted to make everyone aware of the copyright terms and conditions. Actually the same thing would probably apply to the screen caps we use but I'm not going there at the moment! Now that Damien has won Australian Idol, Sony is going to be super protective of their 'investment' so to speak. They own him for now and that includes all merchandise that he generates. |

People use screencaps and other pics on all fan forums. I don't think they could take them all down. I don't see the prob when we're helping promote him.

There's a damien and a damienleith on the forums. I assume they secured those for damo so no one else could use em as they were both created 3.30pm and the sites only just opened so they'd have to be his. I don't think the deangeyer is really dean though  |
