Yeah i've noticed the obsession with Delta! It feels like i'm on a general forum. All anyone talks about is music, movies etc. There's one thread for Damien and 3 for other general stuff

Im having my 2 cents worth!!!
*end sing song voice here*
THe official forum, where do i start. Its a forum run by sony bmg, not really by fans. We can be restricted to what we say due to the fact again its run by them. Im giving it a chance...believe me i am. Its just not really welcoming over there when it should be because its about Damien, well should be.
There should be sections like every other forums and ours like gallery, appearances, D HQ, etc and then the general chat stuff .... instead all the D stuff is cramped in to one itty bitty section and I dont like it!

I think it will be just a matter of time before the admin there organise the "D" section into something more orderly...the Anthony forum looks well laid out, and thats a Sony one

Yeah... when everything is set out properly so that the Damien section OVERWHELMS the rest of the forum with its magnitude, it'll feel a little better. At least they finally corrected the misspelling of his name in the 'Damien Related' description...

It's comfy here! The dressing rooms are painted orange, white and green, and the fridge is full of Guiness! btw Neski...last I saw the scrolling banner on the main page here, it said Damien was Idol in 1006...he looks good for his age!

Uh-huh. The other day they wanted people to talk about 'Damein' in there. Maybe that's not a issue for anyone else, but as a person with an often misspelled name, I'm kind of obsessive about people spelling other people's names correctly.

I'm so glad others feel as I do about the official site. I will give it time and continue to go there to support Damien, but it's a house and here is a home!!!

Not sure if this thread is restricted to four stars and above, but I love it here, and am very excited now that I've scratched my way out of newbie status as well! I agree that they're just trying to find their groove over there on the official site and I'm sure it will come good with time. But I have to admit, I have this one going all day on the computer and I dip in and out all the time, but the other one I don't feel very drawn to yet. Only been on it once today. I was reading this forum for a few weeks before I had the courage to join up, especially being new to all this forum stuff, because everyone seemed to know everyone so well and it was all very cosy. So maybe the official one is a bit bland because they're all trying to find their feet and people generally feel more comfy joining something where EVERYONE is brand new rather than walking into a party sober when everyone else is at the "I love you man" stage of the party...

My feelings exactly guys. I've given the official forum a good go and I'm no longer a newbie there ( ) - but it just isn't the same. This is where the heart is. I found the other site frosty at first, but its warming a bit. Funnily enough my profile shows that I only ever hang out in the Damien Related threads (duh?) It's weird to be hanging out there with people who say they were big fans of Dean or Bobby or Regan - but they were pleased in the end when Damien won. I thought the site was for fans?!! Still I've had some good laughs - mainly with you guys over there - hey Neski? Damien is hawt I love it here and I love you guys. The main thing is I'm only a little fish and I am much more comfortable in little ponds where maybe I can grow to be a BIG fish one day - rather than living in a big pond - which is a very hairy scary place for little ol' me Just hope Damien doesn't over look us for the other site - I think we are the truer and most loyal fans Can't believe I revealed my real name over there - got goaded into it ... oh shame on me ...

I don't mind with the new FORUM since most forums I visit have similar layout (I have to say, invisionfree board is my favourite). However, what doesn't make me settle there are the new members. I don't know... I don't seem to click with them

I suppose these things evolve with time - with all that's going on here this week I don't even have time to visit the other forum, I've only stuck my head in to post on opening night. I'd like to visit, but this one is so well organised basically because *we've* been organising it and maintaining it carefully for 3 months now.
I think the other one is beautiful but not 'lived-in' yet. That will come with time but it needs to be more like here with much more specialised forums.

I believe the main weakness is that it is NOT organised yet - do you think some of us could contact the management about his forum? I'm sure we can do better job than that (by making subcategories that focus on DAMIEN).

I havn't found it too bad, except nobody seems 2 talk 2 me much . I also was a little put off with all the really young ones saying silly things but hey it's nice that they r Damien supporters. I just ignore that stuff though & i really only look at the Damien related part except 4 the occasional game post

I'm much the same...I think I have only posted in the Damien board! Sometimes its hard...some of the discussion threads are stuff we have already discussed - favourite performance etc...and I dont want to rehash stuff I felt I've posted! I guess I am mainly responding to the new stuff...buying the single etc! I do think it will get better, and I think that they will shortly organise the Damien section better! One pet hate - that the admin is called admin. I know its minor, but I like them to have a leeeetle bit of personality But I do love its look - grown-up invision boards are so pretty
