How come I never came across this thread before? The forum reshuffle is bringing all sorts of interesting things to light. What an insightful blog. It summed up Damien's abilities so well.

It summed up Damien's abilities so well. my thoughts exactly. i was living on this forum back in December and i missed this one  as far as blogs go, it's a damn good one - and my sentiments exactly (though Damien isn't 'buck-toothed' anymore, not sure he ever was, he's only slightly dorky and that's in a very cool way). anyway that article has pretty much explained my reasons for being on here. |

Cant believe I'm only just reading this myself! 
He doesn't 'work' an audience so much as carry on an intimate private conversation with a song and invite the audience in. The end result is musicianship of the highest order.Wow. If that aint the most perfect description of what makes D's performances so compelling...  |
