The main two places I play the CD are in the car and on the computer - and in both cases it sounds really good? I'm still thinking maybe there was a bad batch of CDs because the sound on mine is tons better than on the tv... (strange!!)

There's been a lot of digital enhancement of Damien's vocals on the CD - that whole echo effect is prominent on several tracks.

I reckon the sound quality on the cd is crap basically but I still listen to it and the dvd is great.....
I rate the australian idol winners announcement as the number 1 tv moment of 2006 hahahaha...that was just the best moment ever lol. I don't think I could ever forget that...I was so sure Jess was going to win which made it seem even better cos of the shock....The winner of Australian Idol 2006 is...DAMIEN LEITH (SCREAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) aaaaah what a moment that was.

Yeah crushangel, I saw it replayed on a '06 highlights' reel yesterday and I just cracked up! He's like 'Jess-Jess-Jess-Jess-Jess-DWAH!!?!?!?!?!'  News flash: I listened to TWJ in my car today and it seemed drastically improved. I don't know if it's just because the car noises cover up the imperfections though. I tried to listen to Wicked Game at traffic lights to see if the volume went up suddenly, but I wasn't stopped long enough. It was fun driving round with Damien blasting - I hadn't done that yet cos I don't have much driving experience, and I didn't want to forget myself and swerve off the road during Unchained Melody! ;D |

Thats reminds me one time when me and dad were driving some where and of course we were listening to TWJ  Dad new most of the songs so he was singing along to most of them. My dad's actally a good singer cause he used to be in a band when he was younger. ANY WAYS!.. When Nessun Dorma came on, and at the end when he sung that high note dad started to drive faster...and then when he finished he drove normal again...i was like "hmm ok". Didnt really take notice of it until he did it a second time with Hallelujah...Drove faster, then slower when he hit a high note. I ignored it again, until (YES! a 3rd time!) this time with Unchained melody! ( by now i just burst out laughing!) dad was out of his lil world and saying to me " WHAT?..whats funny?" ... i'm just like "nothing!..Damiens the best aint he?" And then *trys to hold laughter* when sky came on he was bloody tappin on the sterrin weel to the beat REALLY LOUD!. n swaying from side to side. I couldnt beleive dad was doing this, he never really gets into songs that much...so i decided to join him! ;D . So heres me a dad tappin along swaying from side to side like idiots ( and still going at the traffic lights!) and ppl where just stairin at us going "wtf" I dont know why i told u that but yea!, i watch the final bit all the time!, its so exciting!!!!, i crack up laughing every time i watch it when Damien has nothing to say and his just keeps saying "THANK YOU!, omg, honestly, I SHOULD OF THOUGHT OF SOMETHING TO SAY!" lol, it was so cute Any ways i just keep going on so i better shutup  |
