Damien and Dean interviewed backstage by Josh Zepps. How do they feel??? Pretty nervous before the show ... but pretty darn good after it`s over!!
PRE-SHOW
J: Now it's before the show you're about to find out what the virdict is uh Do you have any pre show rituals you do before the show
Pre-show rituals umm, no not really, I just pace the floors, up and down up and down and uhh just go through the lyrics in my head and then gradually forget them.
J: Right now tonight we're going to see two people definatly go through umm how are you feeling?
Ohh at this stage uh at this stage it doesn't really matter anymore, it's out of our hands, won't worry about it anymore
J: If you do make it through tonight any plans for after the show?
get a big huge bottle of champaign were gonna crack it open then gonna drink it ALL alone

POST SHOW
J: Brilliant brilliant brilliant brilliant brilliant how do you feel?
I am over the moon. im absolutly over the moon.its just incredible.
J: you seemed genuinly suprised?
I was genuinly suprised i its unbelieveable, the group that I was in, that we were in ,the lads are all theyre all fantastic. It could have gone anyway an uh thank god it went my way you know.
J: now you've got a little wee son,(D: I do) is he old enough to be, to concieve of this of whats uh is going on?
he uh hes 1 in two weeks time and he uh we ah put on a video are on this morning of last nights show and he woke up, he was lying on top of me and he woke up and pointed at the tv and did a little clap.
J: No australians into the finals tonight. Now you said you wanted a bottle of champaign now i couldnt get that but i did happen to manage to get a bottle of shampoo so you can wash you hair endlessly tonight.
ah ha i can wash myself *laughs*

Ahhhh - thanks for the quotes Neski - I would LOVE to see the Idol Backstage show but they don't play on Macs, so I've been bugged for weeks that I've not able to see these. I used to love Inside Idol and as this show is sort of like that I really wanted to be able to see it.

Thanks so much for the Youtube info - can finally see all these, aren't they great little shows - I was happily surprised at how funny Chris and Dean can be, you don't see much of the idol's humour anymore now there's no Inside Idol show. And Damien of course is a delight  |

LOL..Damien cracks me up...i love backstage idol, Josh is a classic, AND i love the theme song, i was like crying of laughter, DID U SEE HOW BOUNCY DAMIEN WAS DANCING>?...LOL!!!.
