Damien On 9am With David And Kim

Just thought that I'd post incase some of you in other states didn't know.

It's 9:10am here in SA and they just showed footage from last night. Kim and David went on about how they think that he should not have won because he's not Australian, but then Kim's like well he's wanting to become a.... and got cut out by David.

They're going to interview him a bit later on

I am so sick of this "Damien isn't Australian" crap . The guy is getting Australian citizenship next year. I know of no person prouder to be living in the greatest country on earth!
David & Kim would have to be one of the worst shows on TV - those two losers and washed up ex-Channel 9 employees are damn lucky a star like Damien would even bother to appear on their dud of a program.

Yeah I agree. What they showed was pretty good though. Even though they said that his single was going to be released today.

I was most disappointed with David though. Kim was actually trying to stop David from saying that but kept getting cut out by him. She just said that maybe they should change that, like not allow people who don't have an Australian Citizenship to enter the competition, but if they're living in Australia I have no problem with that, I think it's quite stupid to tell you the truth.

When Guy won Idol, he received the same feedback, "He isn't Australian and blah, blah, blah..." Seriously they should get over it and be pleased that people this great are representing their country.

Ugh. I detest that show. As soon as they're done talking to Damien the television is going off and I don't intend to watch it again.

But I was so impressed with D's interview! On only a couple of hours sleep...that boy is really endearing on camera (of course, we all knew that!).

My favourite parts were when he talked about his music and his family...you can see his eyes really light up

Yeah, Damien does a great interview! I've been looking forward to seeing how he'd go solo, and I'm really happy to see him doing well. He answered all their questions so well - he's really taking charge of his career! Great to hear Damien intends to broaden himself musically. His singer-songwriter stuff and perhaps some of the more big ballady stuff? I love his album already and it hasn't been recorded!

And it was nice to hear David emphasising how popular Damien is... although I still despise the man.

Was nice to see Damien allude to "things" he has been hearing about Jess and her future. She will have a contract, so all these sore losers can stop whining about how she was robbed now.

He was just wonderful..and he just did an interview live in the studio on the Ten morning news!


I just posted this on another forum, but I'm really impressed at how well is handling himself in these interviews today...hes a pro at it...already!

I wish I could be that composed on an hours sleep!

Yeah, he's amazing, it's like he's been doing it for years - and Jess is handling things extremely well too. How many young girls could go through that and still have a smile on their faces? I just hope she's not putting on too much of an act, and she does feel free to be sad and disappointed in private.
