Ok - i just had to download Real Player and once I had that open, I went back and clicked on the link and it started playing (I'm listening to it now). They are playing both before and after the competition !

It is over 11 minutes long - they play the announcement and live song at the end.
"They love him, you can hear it can't you!" says Rick at the end.
Damien says management are planning on taking him to Ireland.
Great ending - Irish Bookies are offering 2:1 on for the single to go to #1 in Australia by end of the year, 2:1 for him to have a number one single in Ireland next year, and 6:1 to record a duet with Kylie!

Another long interview (14 minutes). At about the 8 minute mark (just before they play the song), Damien describes how he was given the song Night of My Life as a ballad on piano, and how he then spent about 12-13 hours with the producers trying to make it suit him more than the original. |

Thanks so much 4 posting that,it was brilliant .Really enjoyed listening 2 it.I still get all emotional hearing them announce him as the winner.Still get that great thrill go through me when they say his name & the crowd goes wild  ;D |
