God...that didn't take them long... I love it! NOTHING like D but a great dance floor ditty. Can see it being the Mardi Gras hit of 2007 LOL!

Hmph. It's growing on me, but I still think it goes against everything he tried to create with his musical self-image. It's leaning towards Celebration again. The image looks like a singles cover, can you actually buy this now?

Every time I see this thread I keep thinking, "OMG! Someone's made a dancing Damien video game in the style of DDR!" I still like it, but only if it remains an unofficial remix. Because we all know people must remix everything these days, but not on Damien's actual singles, thank you very much.

Do you think it might start getting airplay on NOVA or the Austereo network? It's a lot of fun, but not quite how I'd like Damien to be represented musically. ;D

I hope they keep playing the original. As all of you guys have said, it's not really a direction Damien has indicated he wants to go in, and the original arrangement of NOML is quite upbeat enough that it doesn't need to be remixed. Of course once the Hot 30 gets hold of it they'll probably start using it. The people that sort out the playlist seem to have an attention span of about two seconds when it comes to slower songs.

Everytime I see this DREADFUL remix mentioned in new posts (and it has been going on for about 2 weeks now) I just want to scream. I hate hate hate it. Just so you aren't confused by that comment, I'll say it again - I hate it.
I have wondered whether, like Jessica, Sony had it prepared to be the B side and Damien said something along the lines of "WTF" ummm no tanks how about this little number I rustled up earlier? *and gives them a properly recorded, melodic, lyrical number which we know so well, Come to Me".
*speculates*

Dede, I'm with you, I don't like it all. I was half expecting to hear Kylie chirp in at any minute and start singing with Damien! I hate all of that remix stuff, it all sounds the same and there is just the back beat that everyone dances to anyway, no one gives a rats about the song! Leave Damien's music alone!

Well I didn't like the remix at all and ended up having to turn it off before it ended - it really grated on me for some reason. Leave me with D's original unremixed (is that a word lol) version thanks :-)
