The computer is acting normal. I.E it's totally ballsing up!!!!!! ill bump this thread so I can check back this afternoon. I hope this one stays up long enough for me to download it. Had trouble yesterday also. As always! grrrrrrr...

Ah , I managed to download this. Can't quite remember how I managed it! But it ended up in my i-Tunes, I think if you get a blank page, wait a bit as it takes a little while.
Lovely Damien interview, and lovely version of NOML - I love, LOOOOVE how he makes it sound different every time - you never really know what song he is playing when he starts with the guitar. His voice broke up at one point - never heard that happen before - poor Damien. But superb performance nevertheless.

He sounds ok through the interview to me, I was listening to see if he had a cold but I couldn't tell. There was a bit of a hiccup halfway through the acoustic of NOML, not sure what happened there, that is now only the second stuff up I've ever heard him do (if you don't count Celebration as a stuff-up  ) I guess everyone has an off note once in a while, but it was unusual for him, so perhaps it was a cold. Hope the stress and non-stop activity of the last few months hasn't gotten to him! Great interview though, we get some really good questions, 2 plays of the winner's announcement, a clip of *gasp!* The Blower's Daughter! *squee!* and an acoustic of NOML that sounds very similar to the one he did at Warringah (minus the sing-along, of course!) I like the interview, he's very polite and seems genuinely interested in his guest. I now realise that other irish talk like that; he says 'fantastic' and 'thanks a million' during the interview! ;D Thanks to Mrs Leith for sending the clip of Damien's audition to the station! The day he was torn to shreds! Awww! Those are long passed now, Damo! I don't suppose some person who can edit audio clips could isolate both the audition clip and the NOML clip and post them so we can listen to them on their own? |

But one question...Did Damien kind of...choke...or...loose his voice for a second when singing NOML (acoustic version) ? . Was it because he had a cold? He got a "frog" in his throat for a second...must be due to his cold...but...it happens to the best of them...He is only human afterall! |
