New Weekly October 30

As much as this hurts to admit, I bought this weeks New Weekly (shudder, takes a quick sip) after a quick preview in aisle number 7 at Coles. There's a lovely review of last Tuesdays Idol's Own arrangements. Sorry, don't have the technology or skills to scan but John Foreman and Sony BMG consultant Ross Fraser, gave their views about Damo (and about 6 other people supposedly competing for the title). John said " Sky is a heartfelt song thatcame from a moment in Damien's life and people relate well to songs based on personal experience. It wasa great showcase for his voice as well". Ross says " Sky is a beautifulsong. When you listen to the lyrics, Damien is so content with himself. In his originals he walks the line between early Coldplay, U2 and James Blunt. He's terrific, great to work with and a really nice bloke".
Well, nothing we all didn't know but nice to see others state the obvious.
PS There's a lovely photo of him at his piano too (takes another sip and gets ready for cold shower!).

If someone can scan the article here then we can save another $4.50 each (shock, horror, shudder, I just looked at the price) and use it to vote for the lovely Mr D (better not get complacent at this stage as I think a few other Idol fans got a bit of a shock last night and will up the ante).

I think pooling resources is a great idea - I really hate buying those mags, but I will if it means the forum gets the pretty pics ;D
