Janny, I agree totally with your points on Dicko's comments in particular - and why is that man's opinion even worth printing there when he has nothing to do with the show any more? I know some people prefer him to Kyle but I really can't remember much to like about him. He's said horrible things about Anthony off the show and has pretty much dismissed Casey now after favouring her so much it was sickening. He of all people should know what it can do to a young girl. Idol isn't a fairy tale, it's a good opportunity for talented musicians to get out there, and while Jess is incredibly talented I still doubt she's ready to take control of her career the way she'll need to after this. Didn't Dicko say some time ago that he also thought she was too young? Well... this shows that all he's thinking about is the money that poor girl's 'fairy tale' victory would bring in at first. The other singers going for Jess - well, they're entitled to their opinion I think, even if I disagree about her winning. She is a talented young lady after all. But can Dicko and his stupid comments just go away already?
And Kate is my favourite Diva too. People can say what they like about her but she's the one I believe could have a long-lasting solo career in the future, if she's given the chance.

Trust the young divas to go for Jess. "She really fits with what idol was created for" I thought idol was for anyone. Bout time we got someone different like Damo ;D Don't know about them being experts, maybe 1 or 2 of them. Kate picks Damien to win and that makes me happy, as I like her the best out of the Young Divas. Anyway, it ticks me off whenever someone mentions the contestant 'fits' what the Idol is created for. Especially on Dicko who says that Jess is an example of the fairytalke that Idol provides. Dude... this is a singing competition, not a sugarland where fairies and elves are dancing together. When it finishes, it's REALITY and LIFE that await them. They have to fight for it with their strength. To say that someone deserves to win because it's a 'fairytale thing' is simply ridiculous. May the best voice, win I'd say! I don't want people to feed the contestant with empty dreams that Idol guarantees a success. I believe that idol provides opportunity and it's up to the individual to create their success - hence I believe Jess will not survive out there because she is simply not mature enough. Sorry I see that Kate picked Damien  Most of them seemed to pick Jess because she fits the idol perception or fairytale but yet most picked Damien because of his talent and experience and that he'll be around longer which should be more important. I agree Jess has a great voice but I just don't see her lasting long and personally would never buy her album. I'm sure lots of people like that kind of music but is it enough to keep her going in the industry when many idols before her are very similar? Anyway on a positive note it was great to read Damo's comments and see those great pics. I havn't started voting yet but when my credit kicks in I will be ;D |

I think someone may have mentioned this somewhere but how come Damo's eyes are bluish in that poster and yet other pics they're brown? Has someone been photoshopping?

I'm pretty sure he has blue eyes, cos Jarvis' eyes are definately blue...don't some people have hazel eyes that look sometimes blue, sometimes brown?

I was also trying to deliberate what colour Damien's eyes were. Aren't they a deep green/brown? Hmmm...a lovely mystery. Also, it's wonderous how he ended up with such dark hair when he was a blonde child and the rest of his family are blonde!!
