Idols dominate music charts

Australian Idol contestants have taken over the charts this week.
The newest Idol, Damien Leith, has shot to the top of the Motorola ARIA singles chart with Night Of My Life, the song with which he won the reality TV singing competition last month.
Meanwhile, Anthony Callea, a previous runner-up on the show, has entered the Motorola ARIA albums chart with his second offering, A New Chapter.
Il Divo, the operatic boy band created by American Idol judge Simon Cowell, has also entered the charts in the top ten.
Their album Siempre debuted on the albums chart at number two, not quite enough to knock Irish rockers U2 off the top spot.
And group to come out of the Idol factory, the Young Divas, are still making their presence felt in the charts at number six with their self-titled album and number ten with their single Happenin' All Over Again.
