Do you having a feeling this interview was meant for a female winner?! Definitely. I wish I could have seen his face when he was asked all the makeup questions! ;D I don't think that anyone's going to mistake Damien for a metrosexual. |

Indeed, that's what I thought! I also felt during the Opera House Grand Finale that they expected Jessica to win (heavy pimping and all)
And I thought Anthony and Lavina said they'd want Damien to win O__O (according to previous article). Gaahh... magazines say stuffs differently

LOL That mybelline interview is pretty dumb. He already said he doesnt really use make up (obviously!!) yet they still went ahead with their set of make-up related questions. Yeah ok, they want to promote maybelline but a bit of common sense wouldnt hurt their image hee hee.
He handled it well tho.

Thanks so much for posting this article Winter. I have to agree with you the q's sound like they were for Jess lol. I like the way Damo answered them. So little Jarvis is following in his dad's footsteps and already made it to the Opera House!!! Way to go Jarvis teehee - Damien has a great sense of humour. :-)

Ok, call me sceptical (thousands have ;D) but no way did Damien say or even write those comments in respect to the Maybelline questions. And yes caught out big time by a male winner  . My tip is some Maybelline 'bot' wrote it (those answers couldn't have possibly been generated by a human being) and the answers were waved under D's nose - sleep-deprived and not GIVING A FECK ABOUT FRIGGING BEAUTY PRODUCTS - who distractedly signed it. |

Actually, reading the Maybelline responses again, I have a more plausible (and really boring theory). I think they're extrapolated from a short questionnaire that our beloved "Maybelling NY Style Team" would've given to both Jess and Damien. Tick a box, make a comment. (Would also explain the implied attribution of comments to D but the lack of quotation marks). I've constructed more questionnaires than I care to remember, and oh gaw I can see the lame questions now:
Would you say that your style throughout the show has improved:
a. not at all
b. somewhat
c. dramatically
d. all of the above
e. d does not make sense
f. please kill me
