LMAO Damien Proves Them Wrong Again

It's about time the media shut up, and stopped knocking Damien!
How dumb these so-called experts are looking today!
First of all, Damien was supposedly "too ugly" to win Idol(according to those jerks Holden and Sandilands), then there was no way he'd beat Jessica Mauboy(according to some people), and don't forget the "He's not a real Aussie so he shouldn't win".
22 STEPS: has got virtually no airplay(due to a boycott from NOVA).
WHERE WE LAND: is slammed by nearly every critic!
However, Damien scores another No 1 album, his fans won't be silenced!
It doesn't matter how much Damien Leith is put down, a man of his talent and brilliance won't be denied.

Well, I wouldn't say nearly every critic is slamming Where We Land. Some of the nastiest comments have been from self-important morons who aren't deserving of the label of critic after all, and a lot of the ones with brains have offered warm or even glowing praise.

But yes, it is very nice to see Damien succeeding, as we knew he could and would.

Where We Land hasn't been slammed. Some critics can't get over the Idol tag or karaoke talent, but overall the critiques have been in favour of either Damien or the album or both. ;D

my experience is that a lot of people, both in the media and general public, have been behind Damien all the way

... there are a few jerks slightly deranged human beings who can't move on from the year 2006 and negative criticism of Damien's looks and Celebration performance. and there are those who haven't woken up to the fact that Idol is merely a launch pad for performers rather than the Holy Grail and what happens after Idol is up to the talent and strategy of the contenders...

...but sunny, i wouldn't take them too seriously - just throw them a couple of coins when you pass them on the street next time
