Looks like we're in for a long, hot summer so here is the soundtrack for those parties around the pool
DAMIEN LEITH: THE WINNER'S JOURNEY
While Australian Idol has produced plenty of hit singles, it's been a while since an Idol had a successful album. Irishman Damien Leith was such a popular champion on series four that this collection of performances from the show has become the most popular CD in the country, going four times platimum.
The Winner's Journey features Leith's interpretations of Chris Isaak's Wicked Game, Neil Finn's Message to My Girl, U2's With or Without You as well as two of his own songs and the No.1 single Night of My Life. The CD/DVD comes with the footage of those performances plus a profile of Leith.
(Good to see that Damien was mentioned first in a list that featured Gwen Stefani, Robbie Williams, So Fresh Hits of 2007, and Young Divas...)
