Red Wine topped up January 02, 2007 12:00am Herald Sun
POST-Christmas sales saw Aussie musos soar up the charts.
After 29 weeks in the charts, Eskimo Joe's album jumped up to No. 7 again. The title track, Black Fingernails Red Wine, also shot up, from No. 34 to No. 20 on the singles chart.
And with all the hype about her follow-up album, Missy Higgins' The Sound of White moved 20 spots to No. 27.
The album has been charting for 79 weeks.
Beyonce's Irreplaceable hit No. 1 on the singles charts for the first week of 2007, pushing Damien Leith's Night of My Life to No. 3.
The Irishman still reigns on the album charts.

It's a shame he wasn't up there to kick off 2007 though (in the singles chart, I mean.)

...yeah, but it will probably be something like "Irish Australian, Damien Leith, is ...[insert appropriate text eg accepting ARIA for highest selling album, or eg accepting award for best new literary achievement for first novel Trek..]." There'll always be something Irish in there.
and Ozbrat, I just saw your thingo that says "Hi my name's Ozbrat and all my friends are alcoholics..." I guess we don't need to ask what kind of festive season you've been having, eh? he he I love it.
