 Dicko is getting lots of publicity about this, I guess channel 10 want to get their money's worth from their newest recruit! Damien gets barely a mention, but I guess he has already been a good money spinner for them!! |

I actually wonder if this is Damien's preference. ie less hoo-ha in the media about his becoming an Australian citizen.
It's a very personal and important decision, which was made by them before Idol even happened, and to possibly be perceived as "cashing in" on the moment wouldn't sit well with Damien or Eileen I'm sure.
While we're all looking forward to seeing Damien on our screens again and performing, this ceremony is a totally different thing to him. I hope he's given the space/respect he desires in regard to all this.
