SPEAKING of Idol, apparently last year's runner up Jessica Mauboy will finally get her spot in the sun after all. Remember winner Damien Leith's The Winner's Journey release? Apparently Sony has decided to let Jess have a go and get her own version out on the shelves, although "winner" won't be in the title, obviously. The rumour mill suggests this is Sony's way of testing the waters before committing more resources to an album deal for the Top End youngster.
