Hi guys, Yes, the two songs are Hallelujah and Crying so the public voted well! However, it is only 2 mins per song so pretty short but I am sure he will nail them! He is thinking of playing the guitar with Hallelujah and no band and just singing Crying but doing Crying first and then Hallelujah as that is his favourite song! Can't wait.. Sorry, have been so slack - I love coming in here and reading all your lovely messages but sometimes hard to write back with our little live-wire Jarve!! Hey there Eileen
*does a little dance* yay!!! The public most definatly got the 2 choices right!!! Can you guys even begin to imagine what sunday will be like with 2 songs from D yayness!!! Oh how he spoils us lol!
*overloads* another guitar *sqeee* I hope so, oh this night will be a brilliant one! Almost the weekend but still so far away!!!
Haha aw no need to be sorry, Jarvis being quite energetic and keeping his mummy busy we understand hehe!!!Thanks for the fill in anyways. ;D

sorry you didn't get those tickets emmylou - I read your post earlier and if you don't mind hearing a piece of advice from me... I hope you won't set yourself up for disappointments just so you won't be disappointed - it's not a healthy way to live for anyone. Though it's often hard to put into practice I try to always hope for the best but then count my existing blessings if there is a disppointment, it's always good to have hopes and dreams to keep you looking forward to something and life would be terribly stale if we didn't allow ourselves that simple joy. ok, well I got off track there! Anyway, I just popped in to say thanks to eileen for that lovely bit of information about the songs and arrangements! It's so much fun to hear in advance and look forward to it on Sunday.

Sorry, have been so slack - I love coming in here and reading all your lovely messages but sometimes hard to write back with our little live-wire Jarve!! Oh thank you so much for letting us know....I hang out all week waiting to find out what song Damien will sing.. He will do these 2 songs so well, I can't wait. ;D I have a neighbour who doesn't watch Australian Idol, and I thought that they would love Damiens music....so I got them to listen to a few songs and asked them what they thought....they said they really enjoyed listening to his music. When I told them that he was on AI...they were really suprised and said they would watch it this week just to see how he goes......So I'm so happy he is singing these songs, as I know they will love him as much as we all do after hearing him sing. Thanks for the update, it is so nice that you take the time out of your busy life (as I'm sure it is hectic at the moment) to come on here and say a few words....it is so appreciated. thanks. xox.

Thanks shimmery... That post made my day! I'm not hard done by, not by any means, but it seems in life, whenever I look forward to something, I'm usually disappointed. Your message really taught me to just look at what you've got! Thanks shimmery... Emmylu

thanks shimmery... your a breath of fresh air, considering when you get on the idol forums, everyone is so bitter and negative toward everyone.... except in the damien fan club... of course. Anyways.... I'm hoping to get tickets for the final 3, because my mum comes home tomorrow and has missed Idol for about 4 weeks. She will only need to see on show LIVE and the memories of D will come flooding back, lol.... Thanks again shimmery. I was kinda having a bad day yesterday! But that one comment turned it around! Thanks again. Emmylu
