Yes its very nerve wracking isnt it, I along with all Damienites will be devastated if he doesnt make it to the Opera House.
But we have to remember its only a comp, Damo has had enough exposure now to guarantee him a signing with someone, they would be crazy not to and I dont think us fans will let him fade into neverland. I predict Mr. Leith will be the next biggest thing to come out of Australia. Its agonising having to wait to hear him sing again, but its only a matter of time before he brings out his first album.

Yes... I want to see him at the Opera House because he deserves it, and I'll be furious if he doesn't make it, but no matter what happens there are big things ahead for him! If he does end up going tonight, we just have to make sure we stick around and support him and help keep interest in him up.
But I still hold out hope for the Opera House - it ain't over until it's over!

Yes, it is possible. I think it's true that Damien's had a decent amount of exposure now and hopefully will be snapped up by a record company. Having said that, I think it would be such a shame if he doesn't get to the last two - actually winning isn't important but it would be great for him to get the recognition of top two. I didn't think he could surprise me but Nessum Dorma just below me away. Last night, I thought Unchained Melody was a little disappointing but when I listen to it again today I think it's fantastic - I just think it was overshadowed by the first song on the night - how could you top that??

Well said seano. Even though I hate to even think about it, there is a chance that Damien could go tonight. It's anyone's race now and all we can do if VOTE, VOTE, VOTE! I've been on the phone to Damien all day, Just love that Irish accent and he's calling me a star!! ;D ;D

ooooh mysterri - I love your banner, the lonely rivers are actually moving! Clever thing! LOL I never knew what you all meant with the Damien calling you a star thing because I always SMS the votes! Now I get it Damien deserves to be in that Opera House - let's get him there!

Glad you like the banner Shimmery. It's a real pleasure phoning through my votes to Damien but I think I'm getting a bit tragic I caught myself saying to him today "Love ya Darl." ;D and then I realised I was talking to a recorded message. ROTFL.

LOL!!!!! Yes, that is tragic - but we can all be tragic here together, that's half the fun of watching Idol and enjoying it all

I think there is a strong possiblity he may go...sorry for the lack of reassurrance! The voting is going to be close, a big sympathy vote underway for touchdown-less jess, and a massive pimp for Dean last night kind of puts D in the middle....where he could be overlooked in the voting frenzy. I am voting like mad when I can (this is seriously the worst and busiest day of the year for me!), and I will be crushed if he goes tonight... That being said, if Australia dont want him as their Idol, so be it. If they would rather have a commercial radio Top 10 goodlooking pop star, which they most likely do, then great. Good on em. I just really hope if he goes tonight, he is given the opportunity to record and release his music....

I think it's very important to stay positive at these moments because if it loks like people give up, then the perception is that it's all over and then that is what happens. Personally, i think Damien nailed it last night and a lot of regular viewers will think so too and vote to match. Whatever happens, Damien is known to all now and will have a beautiful career, but I think we should be positive and aim at a good result tonight!

Yes... while the voting lines are still open, there is still a good chance he will be going all the way. We just have to stay positive and work through the finger cramps.

I just feel bad seeing you get so worried every week winter - I really think Damien will storm up those Opera House steps after such a strong show, and if he doesn't, he will still have a great career
