OMG PPL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LDF;JKAGJKDFGLKSDGFJ....I WAS SO HAPPY....I HAVE NEVER SCREAMED SO LOUD!!!!.Wheres all the excitment?  ...or im i just not looking properly???... HE LOOKED SO GOOD DIDNT HE?....and wow i was like crying at the end where he was speechless and trying 2 think of something 2 say!!!! AWWWW...im so glade he won!!!!!!...he deserved this so much, but well done 2 jess too. Im still jumping around thinking about it!!!!! AHHHHHHHH... And u know what...i decided to use some tactics and vote near the end of the lines closing coz i thought thats when the votes would really count....HOW IS EVERY ONE FEELING??? I was sitting there with my fingers crossed going please..please..please let him win. I was so nervous and my heart was pumping. When his name was read out I was sooooo happy. I jumped up and down yelling YES YES! Australia has got it right.
I was so excited I couldn't sleep last night! I just kept running it all through my head over and over.
Good luck Damien you deserve it!

HAHAHAHHAHA!!!!!!!!! *sings along with u* some ppl asked me the same question...it was kinda dumb really, i mean every one and i mean every one!!! knows im a crazy damo fan and they ask questions like "Did u watch australian idol last night" ....LIKE WHAT THE HECK WHY WOULDNT I!!!!!!..i felt like hitting them LLOL...i wouldnt tho...im not that dangerous dont worrie.. AND SAME HERE nichska!!...i was running around the house, screaming my lungs out until i lsot my voice..neat huh  |

Hehe, yeah... I'm copping it a bit from my friends over the way I was freaking out all week and, now, celebrating. One of my friends was all, "but it's just Idol". I responded with a long rant about how I was filled with pride to have supported a brilliant young musician all the way to a record deal. She now thinks I'm more nuts. Ah well, you guys understand it... |

By the way... is it just me who feels that Damien actually won by a long shot? By re-watching the winner announcement, I realised that Andrew G doesn't say the usual "The voting is very very close".

Janny, I feel the same way. I was waiting for the whole, "Only 2% between the two contestants!" and when it never came I wasn't sure what to think. I suspected after the result was read out that Damien's win was a really definite one, and this 'the closest competition in history' line in all the news reports doesn't fool me at all. Makes me wonder where the bookies were getting their betting tips from. |

Yeah, we also thought that it would be a close one, aye? I regret not placing a bet on Centrebet. I highly considered placing 200 bucks on Damien but in the end, I chickened out *bangs head*

Second, I think the gap is likely to be very large. I am hunting my contacts down to try to find out. Will report back if I learn more. |
