I don't think he'll be on DWTS so soon, it'd be like promoting Channel 10. I think we'll have to wait a while before we see him waiting patiently for Daryll Sommers to string two words together; at least he is an established artist in his own right, not so closely associated with the Idol juggernaut.

I'm pretty suprised/impressed that Channel 7 have booked him so soon (next Friday 8 Dec) to do a live performance. After the high standard and wittiness of his interviews yesterday, I reckon his management will be swamped with offers.

Did anyone else just see him on A Current Affair? He was filming his video clip for NOML in Sydney this morning at 6 - outside Shannon's Irish Pub for all those locals out there. He was walking around playing the guitar - I was worried the falsetto might crack the camera lens!

I liked how he was talking to fans, shaking their hands as they congratulated him, continued to shake his head in disbelief that he'd won...
And the Sony guy thinks he could be the best Idol yet!!! Well, d'uh!

Glad I read this first. I was thinking someone must have started a thread about ACA. He looked really great ;D I wasn't picking on some of the fans bagging NOML. Just someone annoyed me yesterday saying Damo couldn't sing  I need to buy a boxing bag to take it out on  I read some lyrics on the behind idol site that said "this kind of moment is only alone"  I thought that made no sense at all. On loan makes a little more sense. Starting to really like the song and I've never really liked any of the other winners singles before (probably cause they weren't Damo singing them) I'm gonna like it more when I see the video I'm sure  |

I suppose it's a bit of an Idol propaganda thing. They loaded it with sap - it's trying to get Damien to say "I enjoyed this night so much - you should audition, it could be you here next year!"
Bless him though, he did his best, and his voice is still exquisite!
