watched and waited with baited breath for Damien Leith to grace our screens
no video, no night of my life, no Australian Idol again to be seen
Now Damien's a star, worthy of rising
on talent and merit there'll be no compromising.
So maybe we'll wait and keep holding on
for we know it won't be too long
till we're dancing and singing
or shrieking like school girls - ooh it's all just too thrilling.
