It's a good sign Damien has a few months to put this thing together, it won't be a rush job released in 5 days(which disadvantaged both Casey and Kate in previous years). I hope he will have some top notch producers to work with.  |

I have a very strong feeling that Damien will get the best of everything they can provide him with. Surely they can see, as we all can, that he's worth throwing a little effort into.

They only showed a little bit when it was played on TV, but it says on the back "full auditions" ooh good I'd like to see the whole thing but I don't think he would have sang a whole lot more than what they showed. That's the idol dvd though isn't it not the one that's just Damiens stuff? Don't know if I'll buy both. Would prefer just Damo's one, there already making plenty of money out of me. |

This might be a little odd but I was thinking today, I wonder what Damien would do with Tim Buckley's song Song To The Siren (also performed by the Cocteau Twins (as This Mortal Coil) in the 80's). It's a very beautiful song and has been performed in so many different ways - the mortal coil one is sung by Liz Frazer but its the most haunting spine-chilling version I've heard. Anyway, just a thought |
