Has anyone else tried to download the songs from bigpond? It gladly takes my money but won't download the stupid license so the songs are useless. Plus you can only play them on the computer that they are downloaded too. They have so many restrictions on them it's not funny. I will be buying the cd single as well but was hoping to hear it last night. I've tried again today and it still won't get the license Is this because it is officially released tomorrow and bigpond doesn't yet even have the rights to sell the song? Not happy. I would never use bigpond music ever again. Why say on idol go to the website and download it straight away if you can't? And especially if it doesn't count towards the charts.

Well while waiting to buy it tomorrow, you can download the studio version for free at behindidol How did they get the studio version on there? I wouldn't have thought they'd be allowed too. Well I've paid for it now so I want something for my money. They just said again on the news go to bigpond and download it. Bigpond will be making lots of money and giving out nothing. Is there somewhere you can make a complaint? I'm going to email them now anyway and ask what is going on. It's really wrong if they don't have the right to sell it til tomorrow and yet are still taking people's money I'm annoyed but happy cause I just saw D on ch 10 ;D

Yay it's finally working!!! Maybe bigpond has got too many complaints. Well I won't get too excited yet but it didn't come up with the license error message for the first time. You should try it again winter. Might be working for all now

Annoying. This is why I refuse to support this music download nonsense if at all possible. I hope we can still buy real CDs forever, because the licensing thing they do on legal music downloads just sucks.

You know what sucks even more. I've finally managed to get it to work. Probably only because I emailed them and said it was a waste of money. They didn't even bother to email me back but at least it finally worked. But the version of Come To Me sounds to be the exact same one that you can download for free before from Damos' myspace I wouldn't mind paying for it on a single but paying for it on a download when D was giving it away just isn't right. And when I paid it said $3.48 but my bank is saying $4.48 will be taken out. I feel ripped off. I should have just waited until tomorrow and got it in the shops at least I get the actual cd and artwork and it will count towards the charts. I know it's not much money but if they do this to hundreds of people then they'll make a lot for very little effort I'm not annoyed at Damo. Telstra and Sony suck!

Yeah, I thought it was the same version of Come To Me from the site previews. Which is fine with me, but I'd be pretty cranky if I paid for a download of something I was freely given. I just hope that Damien starts getting some money quickly out of all of this - I know most people wouldn't mind giving three or four dollars directly to the man, but we know who gets the biggest cut out of this! I really wish they wouldn't do this download thing, it just causes more trouble than anything. I'm hoping against hope that all these downloads are at least counted towards the charts, although the way the charts are now it's anyone's guess whether they will or won't be.

That's why I'm always against downloading - too much hassle and you never know if the sales are going to contribute at all!

Well I've learnt now never to use bigpond ever again. No downloading for me anymore. I'll go get it in the shops And since the song isn't officially released until tomorrow I'm thinking the downloads before then aint gonna count

Stupid downloads. Stupid charts. Oh well, most of Damien's fans are more likely to be CD people than download people, so I'm not worried about his sales being hurt. I'm more worried about the ARIA-accredited shops actually having his single stocked tomorrow. They've been terrible lately, with Guy and Anthony's singles coming in about a week late. But I would think the stores would have the sense to have this in, given all the Idol publicity. *crosses fingers*
