Has anyone else noticed how Damien overuses the word 'incredible' when being interviewed? Quite funny yeah...  |

I know, but I guess he's still overwhelmed by the whole experience. After all it's taken him 15 years to get there, so he's probably still gobsmacked.  |

Well, to give him credit, he does sometimes substitute it for 'fantastic'.  But I don't blame him. I'm not the one who got to do all the things he's done these past few months, and I think it's incredible. It is cute to watch. I guess if you hang that much on the words of any person you'll start to pick up phrases they use frequently... |

He also says "I'll tell you something" alot. But really I think he is doing so well. It must be unreal to just be a man off the street one day then having security guards, ambulances, police, screaming fans, not to mention undie throwing  It would be just incredible   |

You know, I considered starting a thread on the very same topic this morning. We have to send him a list of synonyms so he can refer to them for future speaches. Aww, he's still just so excited about everything, still. I think the boyishness and genuine enthusiasm is so charming. I suppose the adrenaline rush will fade after his vacation in Ireland with the family. |

I have noticed he says these a lot:
"Thank you so much". He said that a lot the night he won, and I think he wrote it on most people's cd covers at Warringah Mall (including mine!!!).
"Thanks a million" - said to fans on camera a lot, said a few times on the night he won
"I'm over the moon" - said pretty much every time someone asked him how he felt, sometimes used in reference to Eileen and his folks back in Ireland
