I so can't wait for his album..will they release a single off it first? Then release the album?

They don't seem to show these ads where I live. The last time I saw a TV ad for an Idol contestant's album was for Shannon's debut.

Oh well... I'm happy that he is getting them! He deserves all the promotion they can provide...

Saw the ad tonight for the first time! Was reading Neski's thread about meeting Damien and heard in the background on the telly - "Your Australian Idol, Damien Leith - wooo!

Totally agree smilingeyes re: acoustic versions. He's doing SonyBMG's budget good by being such a versatile muso...lol! No backing tracks (or miming for D)


Album release...all the media and interviews say In The New Year...which to me means sometime in January...but D said he's not even going into the studio til January and it's going to take 2.5 months so that's a March release date. I think he'd know!!

So that's a long wait...but imagine how brilliant it will be (though heaps of pressure for D...but I'm sure he can handle it)
