How about this little factoid: Damien Leith's album has shipped and sold more than U2's album. Now that might help put it in perspective for the Irish back at home.

By the way guys... I've just been to the official forum and someone mentiones that Idols will get royalty only after he sells a million CD. Is it true? If it is, then it's just absurd! I'll be throwing hissy fits if Damien doesn't see any of the profits >.<... after all his success...

Only after a million?!  That makes absolutely no sense, especially if they mean a million of each seperate release and not combined. No wonder so many people decide to independantly release their music. |

Damien is going to make a lot of money out of this - the man will be an international superstar! Wait until the single & album are released in Europe and the UK - Damien is the next James Blunt, except he's a better singer and much more handsome.  |
