 I think it will be unlikely for the single to remain at the Number 1 spot, especially with the DVD selling so well. I am pretty sure the DVD will still be number 1. It has had some good promotion. It is also a good item to buy for young sons *hint...I have 2 of them* who are too lazy to think of a present. They might buy it for their Mums, a bit like buying chocolate, hankies perfume etc. I am not complaining, any sale by whatever means is a good sale. Confession time: I bought 1 Winners Journey and 1 Boned this week. If he can hold onto the singles chart it is always a good thing to have the number 1 spot at Christmas. The English thrive on what is the number 1 record over there.

I really dont see the single remaining at number 1 this week, especially as the album is selling so well (and both single tracks ARE on the album!). I'm thinking "Dont give up" may take number one spot, though I must say I prefer the original Gabriel/ Bush version hands down, no contest! Would still like to see a top 5 for the single, but not confident.. I'm really hoping the Winners Journey remains at number 1, but who knows...Christmas sales are kooky! All this chart success is really lovely, but I dont mind if both releases take a tumble this week...its got to happen sooner or later, and he's still the best in my eyes  |
