NOML: No 16 this week on the ARIA Singles Chart I don't know about the new album chart: has TWJ held at No 1?

I don't think TWJ will be #1 again this week - I'm blown away by how well it has done already! But you never know... I'll be interested to see how it's gone at least!

Even if it drops to No 2 this week, I bet it'll go back to No 1 the following week, after Damien appears on TV Thursday night for the Aussie Day Concert.

I cant believe he has only dropped one spot...hes been in the top 3 now for 7 weeks! I think its a great result, and perhaps sales will be reenergised with the upcoming TV appearances...and tour! SQUEEEEE!

I am more sick of Pink (not that I thought much of her music before, but the whole Stupid Girls thing has turned me off completely... *ahem*), so I'm just glad Damien is still ahead of her. I don't mind Snow Patrol, and I'll probably try to buy their CD in the future myself - when it's not competing with Damien, I mean! Besides, he has sold more CDs than just about anyone else in the charts at the moment! He should be very proud of that and, as you say Evan, the future concerts and the Australia Day appearance are going to be good promotion for future sales as well.

Kamitsuki, Pink does nothing for me at all! Australia is virtually the only country where she is successful.

UPDATE
Just received the weekly ARIA Report for week 22/1/07:
The Winner's Journey has dropped from 1 to 2 nationally. Interesting details from state/state breakup - given the high medai coverage of Pink's tour, I'd expect TWJ to drop to 3 next week.
NSW – dropped from 2 to 3 (behind Snow Patrol at 1 and Pink at 2, up from 4 last week) Vic/Tas - Dropped from 1 to 2 Qld - Dropped from 1 to 3 (behind Snow Patrol at 1 and Pink at 2) SA - Steady at 1 WA -Dropped from 1 to 2

I gather Le Bibliothecaire that youmean in NSW it has dropped from 2 to 3. Still holding in SA. Damien definately HAS to go there and thank his SA supporters. Since he is there he may as well head to WA and give our buddies there a thrill too.
