Still a good result for TWJ, after so many weeks of release. I'm surprised it hasn't reached 5X Platinum yet, but that's just a minor irritation. It augers well for sales of the new album! ;D However, I think Sony would be disappointed that Jess's CD isn't doing better on the charts, but Idol finished months ago and Jess doesn't have any new material yet, so that wouldn't be helping.

Yes...you would think that if Sony wanted the thing to sell they may have..oh, I dont know...released a single from it?! I mean, as tragic as commercial radio is, people do listen to it and buy their music from what they hear. Really, Jessica's Journey needed a studio version of one of her Idol performances on it to get radio play and push it along...did they really just expect it to sell from Idol hype so many months later?Although I guess that would mean them actually spending some more money and recording something...where they would have had this Journey album already waiting and sitting there That being said, I'm still not sure if it would have sold quite as well as TWJ...D's album not only has great performances all through it, but as many reviews have suggested, it is also a catalogue of great music - the boy has taste! IMHO opinion, Jess' song selections just dont have that same appeal...
