Damien could do with some decent radio airplay. I haven't heard AIWIY once this weekend on Sydney FM radio.
In comparison, Shannon & Ricki Lee are on every hour, & frankly, both their singles really aren't that good. Delta's new single is very average, yet radio is flogging that one to death.
Damien has a new song with No 1 hit written all over it, yet radio doesn't want to know about it.
Someone needs to give those radio programmers a good kick up the proverbial.
James Blunt and Shannon will have their new CDs debuting in the Top 5 next week, I'd expect, which won't help Damien either.

wish Damien had been able to play AIWIY on shows like Rove - maybe once people hear that song they'll get interested again

The problem is Damien has only been playing on TV 22 STEPS, the weakest song on the album by far.

I would have to agree with you Sunshine. Lets hope AIWIY helps the album to do alot better, its a great album and deserves to do well. Though I have to be honest and say I have been concerned at how long it took for the album to come out.

I am the only one who still really really loves 22 Steps, aren't I? I don't think it's weak at all..

I never thought 22 Steps should of been a single
There's about 5 songs on the album that would make a better single than 22 Steps but anyways.
AIWIY is a much better choice for single. I really hope it gets some airplay.
I haven't seen any adds on TV for the album. Some more advertising would of helped a lot.
Platinum is an amazing result though and hopefully with the new single it will keep selling and stay on the charts for a long time.
