Wow Smiley, those are funtarstic! I reckon if the last few ones were put together, it would make an animated Damien Irish jig.

I've just been looking at the photo I got with Damien on the day, and I am on one side of Damien, and on the other side is this random lady I don't know. It's weird, I've had that picture as my background on my computer for ages, and I've only just noticed the lady.

Here are the ones I took. Damien and his guitarist- friend Eric Aranda were really on fire. It was a wonderful day shared with lovely people of the persuasion. I love seeing him really into the performance, as you can see in all the photos. I'd never heard him sing The Blower's Daughter live and it was as mesmerising as I thought it would be. I'd never heard of the Fisherman's Song (?) but loved it - and loved how the crowd got right into it too. Thank goodness the show was running late before he got on because I just managed to beat him to the stage area. Lol being such good Damienites, the early ones got front row seating ground-space. We just closed the gap to the front The crowd were really behind their local lad and he really looked like he was loving it all - and so he should! What a great day and thank-you to dmac for the little contraband which I sip every now and again to remind me of a perfect St Patrick's Day concert.

I had never heard Fisherman's Blues before either but now I LOVE it. I hope I can hear D singing it again some time, because: good song + Damien = even better song. EDIT: I just remembered that someone scanned the page about Damien from the program we got at Hyde Park. Maybe whoever that was could post it again?
