Oh it sounds like a beautiful night. I hope Damien sings Come to Me for us in Brissie *insert begging smiley ... I requested it in the Damien if you need any hints thread I can't believe how much he's changing the setlist! Lilac Wine... That's great that Eils was there to share the night- I wonder will she be there tonight as well? Mustn't have been able to Tear Us Apart after the few days off! I hope D's voice is okay ..lucky he's got a 5 day break after Tassie. Trilly Poor D - he's never going to live that down! It's funny cause you often see the lyric as flo'rs but it's still pronounced flowers so you can see how it could have happened.

It was a beautiful night. Come to me, Lilac Wine, what more can we ask for? Eileen is a lovely lady. She told us that Jagger and the family had a lovely time for his birthday. He is also walking started at 11 months a real little goer. Bobby Flyn and his partner were also chatting to us she is due on the 4th of August. They have moved to Melbourne just recently. Well tonight will be the end of a most amazing week, you are all certainly in for a real Damien treat.

Just thinking about the "Flaming floors that brightly blaze" may actually just be Damien's accent and pronunciation slipping back to his roots? Thanks Nixter, Trilly and Princess for your reports on another lovely night. Being a bit more subdued isn't a bad thing unless it requires a bit more high octane revving up by Damien :PAll the shows don't need to have wild and uber-loud audiences to be perfect. The reaction to Lilac Wine's intro is just classic! What another wonderful set list. I remember hearing that Damien doesn't always fix the whole set-list before the show. He checks out the mood and the crowd first. Trilly, thanks for the warning... I'm going to have to practice putting on some waterproof mascara. geez How sick is that? I'm so looking forward to crying??

Nuffy, D has said that it isn't just his accent, it's because he got the lyrics off the internet. He openly admits it, gorgeous man that he is..it's a great story, and is just part of his lovely self-deprecating humour. ;D Kazza. go listen to D's blog of Lilac Wine, and to the youtube performance of it at the Jeff Buckley tribute..*siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh* Oh..one other little thing..D sang part of Hotel California last night, after Eric started riffing it on guitar!! We yelled for the whole song, sounded magic!!..but D was just teasing..bugger!

Wow again another great night. I'm loving that D has changed the setlist every single night so far....it makes it more interesting for the rest of us to see what he will do at each venue. How lucky for you girls to get Lilac Wine!! and awww it was a year ago that I heard him sing this too and fell in love with it Thanks for the reports ladies, I'm sure tonight will be emotional for you all as this is your last one, but boy you all have some great memories from this tour which is just fantastic.

Hotel California! I would love to hear Damien sing this. He mentions this song in his book on page 220.

That's interesting about the incorrect 'Vincent' lyrics, because I had thought that 'floors' was just D's pronunciation of flowers, but thought the wrong part was here: the silver thorn of bloody rose lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow. And now I think I know what you tried to say to me where 'know' rhymes with 'snow'. D sings 'now I understand' again, and it always catches me out when I sing along
