 Lucky you! Isn't he the sweetest? No wonder we love him  Smiley, Princey, Di and myself were lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time and got a quick chat and kiss and cuddle from Damien. There was not even enough time to call the others, he was on his way to the car. So we were very very lucky! Thanks Damien!  Will write more of a report soon. It was a fantastic night and so so lovely to see everyone again and to spend time with Princey and Di!  And Shims, you are right, Nessum Dorma was just too beautiful for words, as you saw by the tears rolling down my face and thank you for being there and sharing that with me!  And Damien, you are just so amazing!  Ahh...sounds wonderful Did Damien sing all of American Pie or just a bit like last time? Yay  Maggie got noticed, did anyone get to see D after the show? Fantastic songlist...and sounds like the crowd were into it.   Spider? More info...please  ? (*am very frightened of spiders..  )

I'm with you Trily, absolutely hate spiders. Glad you all had a great time, sounds like a lot of fun.
Roxy will love the spider, she is the queen of the spiders remember.

Okay, haven't posted here as I gave all my notes to Braffy and my mind had a whitout, blackout? terrible moment   . I do remember the long trip there, with the 3 of us - Sue, Di and myself begging the machine to talk ha! think Sue was ready to toss it and Di was falling asleep from little sleep the night before, so the 9 minute trip was more like 69 mins  . Anyway, have to agree with Braffy Maggy, D looked down at you and smiled awwww was really lovely and we all had a noisy, an up close and personal, simply wonderful time in front of the stage. Forgot to say, I saw George before the show started and handed him a stem of deep vibrant purple orchids and he beamed and waved it and said "I'm going out the back to show the boys" hehe I think he was chuffed to get flowers ;D. During the course of the show, I handed the other stems of orchids to D. He is a funny possom, asked if it was okay to open his little bag of gifts when I gave it to him and thanked me ;D. Think Indi liked hers too, as she hung it over the mic stand ;D The show was amazing, fun, beautiful, fantastic, warm, wonderful and great to be there. Was terrific to getto meet up with Eils after the show too. She is such a stunning beauty and wore a stylish black outfit with white trim. But really, as soon as she smiles, you can't take your eyes off her gorgeous face. Was disappointed that there was NO TEA!!!!!!!!!!!!! holy dooley, I really needed some liquids and couldn't stomach anything lemony any more . I think the travelling and/or lack of sleep for some was starting to catch up. But it was great fun to catch up with so many lovelies. Ha!! at least the NB got me out of Sydney the next day that day, although it kept wanting to take me off the Motorway D did say he would be putting up a pic of Billy when we saw him on Friday ;D |
