Hi Damien, 
I would really love to hear you sing You're Only Lonely by J. D. Souther at your gig at the Palms in Melbourne in October. It is a hauntingly beautiful song and every time I hear it I immediately imagine you singing it. Here is a youtube link so that you can have a listen.

let's face it, there are probably hundreds of songs that we would all love to hear Damien sing because they move us in a certain way just as the music Damien has released to date has a special meaning for him. Being age appropriate doesn't enter into the equation. ;D Gawd he sang Crazy in Canberra and that was written in the '50's. 
I could just hear him rocking it up a bit (like faster beat and edgier) and blowing the roof off with it!! Imagine that falsetto hitting the high notes...wow..!
I did ask for input from other Damienites and you posted your thoughts and opinions so it's a bummer that you've now deleted them. This thread wasn't meant to be a debate on what Damien should and shouldn't sing but by the same token debate is good and best done in the open and not behind a locked thread.
