 Damien at our hotel  ...you can imagine our squeees!  I made a point of telling him when we said goodbye how much we loved the new song! He seemed really thrilled to hear it. God, D- it's just beautiful! I really really hope it makes the new album...and if that song anything to go by the album's going to brilliant!! And no we didn't get lost on the way up but we did take a "longcut" on the way back!  Lucky Bella knew where to go!

Nuffy, Damien sang a new song at Redcliffe not Tewantin, I only mentioned in this thread cause it was at Tewantin I was talking to him about it when we said goodbye to him the next morning.  I can't think why D would sleep extra soundly with us across the way! |

Did we mention that D sang some of AMERICAN PIE too!  it was amazing, and everyone was singing it more than he was  I agree Smiely, the new song "THERE FOR YOU" was BRILLIANT and I hope it makes the album too Sorry Nuffy but vids of new songs won't be getting uploaded. They are still a work in progress  but Damien is trying them out at different venues so hopefully you and everyone else will be lucky enough to hear a brandy newy too. ;D |

Lucky no-one took a dive off the balcony either into that massive DEEP pool!! The girls asked me how deep the pool was and I read the sign below saying it was 6m deep!! we were looking at it thinking that it didn't look that deep but must be REALLY DEEP in the middle or something. The next morning, Bella asked me how deep the pool was again! and I said 6m!! she said, well how deep is that coz this little kid just walked all the way through it!! I said read the sign it says so! it was actually .6m I didn't see the point before the 6  |

Ha Ha, what a fun report! And if I am reading it right, you realised Damien was staying at your hotel when you woke up the next morning??? Probably lucky for him, and for you as well.... you might not have been able to sleep knowing he was within kidnapping distance!! And about the pool depth!! Good thing no one was drunk on the night , or they might have given the dive a go!! |

a 6m swimming pool would have been a canal lol, sounds like Damien was given a concert back in return Sounds like it was loads of fun  love the stories - a "longcut" going home Those freeways help with the navigating, though lol - we ought to release a book "Damienites on Tour" - it would be a travel book, basically about all the previously unknown roads we have managed to find |

That means Damien must have changed his mind from when Braffy and I spoke to him after the Limelight Lounge  When I specifically asked him about the new songs then, he told me that he would be really happy for any videos of the new original songs to be uploaded so he could get feedback and so that they could be heard in advance of the album... He also said they've already been pretty much worked out for the recordings too. Anyway, love the reports - it sounds like you ladeez had such a blast.  |
