Good thing I'm posting after Smiley - I need to read her little saying, Don't Cry because it's over, Smile because it happened! Cause I feel a bit like crying now!! Only because it is over! Well, Damien rocked another venue in WA tonight! I didn't write down the setlist, I will leave that to Lisard who was the faithful scribe tonight! I don't even know where to begin! We had a fabulous and yummy meal while waiting for Damien who came on at about 8.30pm. We had two tables absolutely up front!! We were right next to each other, and if you can imagine, MissE and I were sitting back to back on either side of Damien's microphone!! So there was no getting away from us tonight!! MissE kept saying she felt a bit too close! I felt a little bit too close to her I must say when she let loose her ear piercing whistle - I am seriouosly deaf in my left ear!! Damien congratulated her on her whistle from the stage - nice whistle!! he said! Damien was his usual charming and sexy self!! Wardrobe report - black tight jeans, black jacket of hawtness, and black t-shirt with a big peace sign on it... and a very low neck, revealing lots of chest hair!!  He even commented on it, saying Eric and Indi had teased him about how low it was and how much hair was showing, I think Eric called him the abominable snowman (though Damien gots his own back later when he called Eric an Saint Bernard when he started drooling while playing the voice box!!)... anyway, back to the chest hair!! The top did reveal quite a lot, but Damien said that the hair stopped just after the neckline and that was it - no more!! Eric said it had fallen there from his head!! (I have lots of photos that I will post later, if you need evidence!!  ) Eric and Damien were very funny tonight, though Damien got the last laugh (  ) at poor Erics expense as they left! More about that in C&A! |

It is soooooooooooo quiet here tonight!! I am really talking to myself here - the time difference with Daylight savings is making us WA Damienites even more isolated.... ..... anyway, I will continue with my story! We all got a little hello smile when Damien bounded on stage - which is just lovely!! And he kept his promise to us by singing the chorus of Creep at the piano just before Beautiful in the encore. He explained to the crowd that he "knows the ladies at the front tables" (that's us! ;D) and that we would be very unhappy if he didn't sing Creep for us!! So Thank YOu So much Damien!! Damien also sang Crying which was a real crowd pleaser (and gave me the chance to hand him some roses!! ). I am really blank headed and don't know what else to write. My mum who has now seen him 3 times was just in raptures and saying it was the best that she had ever seen him! She couldn't believe his voice tonight! I was just trying to soak it all in, knowing that it will be some time before we will see him again - probably not until next year!  I'll go and post a few other memories in the C&A thread and post some piccies too. |

Well..... I have posted my photos, told my stories and shed my tears!! (how dramatic  ).... and no one else has come online at all!!! What's happening in the rest of the world? Where are all the Damienites!!! Well... if no one wants to party, I guess I better go to bed!! Bye bye!! to sleep, perchance to dream  |

;D    Aw Tina  Dreaded time zones and no-one to share your excitement! Wow! you sound like you had the most brilliant time ;D and Damien in fine form.... I know, it's so sad when it's over but I have that saying there for that very reason...so I can stop crying and start reliving it all...it works ...... to a degree! *sigh I'm thrilled Damien sang Creep for you and made you all feel so special- he's such a sweetie..( oh what am I saying? ...he's a freaking gorgeous man!! ) Squeeeee! Off to check out C & A and the photos! Thanks for the report Tina- can't wait to hear from the rest of you ;D |

Thanks everyone! Gawd, I sounded depressed last night!! Sorry!! And I understand why you weren't all hanging around waiting at 3am - honestly I do!! A couple of guests popped in, so it wasn't too scary!! It was a beautiful night, and seemed to be over in a flash! The setlist was definitely shorter than the night before (altho I might be proved wrong later by Lisard)! And it was great having all the known WA Damienites in the room! I think Starsuz will be having stars in her eyes today and for a while to come!! |

Spud, I briefly met Starsuz when I went down to Esperance the week before, we caught up for "coffee" (as neither of us drink coffee, and the cafe we arranged to meet at was shut, it was only a virtual coffee!!). This was her first Damien event and meeting!!
