Aww Braffy! I can feel your pain You poor thing! There's nothing worse ...have had it happen to me over the years ..thankfully you found your way eventually and didn't miss out on anything. It so weird...I can picture being in the room with you all from your descriptions! You must have all had so much fun! What a great bunch of Damienites! I didn't realise there were so many of you going to be there. I love how any interstaters or country bumpkins are looked after by "the locals" . What a special little group we have here. ;D Thanks for your reports..and of course still more to come

DH and I are staying at a winery in the Yarra Valley of Vic. so this is only a quick catch up until I return home tomorrow night sometime. There isn't much more I can add about Friday night except that Damien and crew were fantastic! His new song is absolutely divine! The ABBA songs were hilarious and he certainly would have received a touchdown if he was singing any one of them on AI tonight. Another standout for me was when I asked Damien to sing Fever and he did! It was only a snippet but we were all yelling out MORE! It was great meeting everyone and I hope I didn't scare you all too much when I tried to get you all up on stage with me to be Damien's backing dancers? We got some great photos and I'll post them when I return home.

Poor Braffy Your story reminded me of the time I got off the bus too early (thinking it was a 5 minute walk to the Novatel) when I was meeting you guys for the JB Tribute. Half an hour later I arrived slightly out of breath after weaving my way through the back streets of Sydney and having to ask a coach driver for directions And I've lived in and around Sydney most of my life Loved reading your story and looking forward to seeing your piccies Myst ;D

Geez, how did we forget the Fever bit? bwah! That was HAWT! So much happened, I guess, and who can be bothered with detailed notes? We were waaaay too busy having fun! Have fun and a safe journey home.

It was a great night at the Palms and it was lovely meeting Braffy, GJ, Pugger and Mysterri and her lovely DH. The Melbourne crowd were a little subdued at first, but got into the swing after interval. The Damienites rocked from the start of course. There were quite a few die hard Damien fans in the audience. I absolutely love his new song, and his rendition of Beautiful was the best I have ever heard stunning. I am going to Queensland for 3 weeks and will try to post some photos when I get back.

;D Thank you all for thinking that my adventure was funny . My feet are still aching . What WAS funny though was my trip from the airport with Princey and her DH. I am not sure if I should tell it or let Princey. I will set the scene and you can use your imaginations. 1 x Ute. 1 x driver, 2 x passengers, 1 x front seat. 1 x floor gear shift. The passengers (especially 1 from Sydney is not slim , the other passenger from Melbourne is a tall, weight, size appropriate but not skinny person. The two passengers have both had children (think hips here people : The Melbourne passenger had to 'straddle' the gear stick I think I will leave the rest for Princey to add more if she wishes to.

Trust me, I did have fun and I would do it ALL over again.
Looking at Tina's pics form the Telethon has reminded me. I swear that Indi was wearing Damien's clothes on Friday night. She had his tight black jeans and his connies on. She had her own top on though.
