;D Thank you all  for thinking that my adventure was funny  . My feet are still aching  . What WAS funny though was my trip from the airport with Princey and her DH.  I am not sure if I should tell it or let Princey. I will set the scene and you can use your imaginations. 1 x Ute. 1 x driver, 2 x passengers, 1 x front seat. 1 x floor gear shift. The passengers (especially 1 from Sydney is not slim  , the other passenger from Melbourne is a tall, weight, size appropriate but not skinny person. The two passengers have both had children (think hips here people  ) The Melbourne passenger had to 'straddle' the gear stick  I think I will leave the rest for Princey to add more if she wishes to.  Be my guest Braffy, I would love to see your take on this after your brief description  I was trying to be elegant  |

Wow! Just got home from Melb. couldn't wait to see reports. I had so much fun, and it was so great to meet you all. I think you guys have covered it all! Nobody scared me off......Squee, squeeing, Myst with her request for fever, and dancing.........you had me in stitches all night. Thankyou all, Princess, Braffy, Trilly, little Squee, Lady Di, Myst and DH, JD, Nix, Annie (hope I have not missed any!) for including me in the great night. Princess, thanx for rescuing camera, will be in touch, have to get some sleep. Braff hope feet are betta! The only thing I can add to report is alot of people got lost in Melbourne on this night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Myst and DH hope you had great weekend at Yarra, actually I hope you all did, the damenitte crew. Can't wait to see the pics from everyone........take care guys and recover. OH P.S Braff the ute bit, they had the Denny Ute muster on this weekend you could have done a road trip. My mates tried to talk me in to going, but no way not with a concert happening........chat soon..............

Oh Braffy so sorry to hear what happened. I can understand how your feet would be feeling and hope they are back to normal soon.  The "bumcrack view" Myst being a back-up dancer. I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea. I had a fantastic, fabulous, fun filled weekend. My complaining about my feet is just a downside of the weekend but I would do it all again even if it meant the sme thing happening to my feet. By the way, I took a couple of photos of my blisters on my corns this morning. Not sure whether to post them or not. I did show the girls on the night how my toes were leaving indents in my shoes. I kicked my shoes off as often as I could and you could see quite clearly where my toes had been. I am enjoying reading this thread, and I laugh loudly at a lot of the posts and then I realise it is my post I am laughing at  , so you all have permission to laugh at my expense.

Braffy your getting lost post is really funny and I laughed out loud too-you're an entertaining story teller and you place the reader right in the moment with you as though we are there too. Having said that, blistered feet are a misery that we've all experienced and I admire your determination to soldier on, with good humour, despite some dodgy directions . Keep writing those stories. |
