Well, I'm home...and only just! My car broke down two streets from home  ..and seeing as I was in high heels, it was raining and I am buggered..it's still there! RACV tomorrow.  Actually, getting to and from Capers was a bit of a nightmare tonight Rain, heavy traffic and tired s don't mix. I arrived later than I expected, but it was all good anyway, because D didn't come on til after 9pm due to meals still being served. The restaurant was full to bursting. ;D We all scrubbed up pretty well,( a pic may show up elsewhere soon)  and it was lovely to see gj again. What a scream that woman is!!  OK now the important stuff.  Wardrobe report: White shirt, black jeans and the wps.  |

Sorry to hear the travel part of the night was pretty rough, Trilly. Thanks for coming on after all that with the car to tell us about the show, looking forward to hearing all about it, the venue looked great on their website, hope it was another good one |

The first set was very similar to last night..and princey couldn't resist having an upside down peek at the set list when Ray put it on the floor of the stage..I got into trouble from the others because I didn't want to know what was on it..and vowed bloody retribution if they told me.  See, I LOVE D to surprise me. He always does. This will be short because a) I'm tired and it's late and b) I don't have the list...and the memory ain't great after 4 gigs. Songs that I do remember were Alone..*siiigh* What a gorgeous rendition  ...and Lilac Wine and Goodnight again on the grand piano  Have to mention some hilarity tonight between D, Ray and an audience member who kept buying tequila shots for the band. Ray missed out on a drink at first and he was asked what he'd like..yeah, you guessed it, tequila. He skulled it ...and then it was ON!! D teased him about it..so he was bought one too...bwhaha!..he said "if you want to see me turn green, tequila will do it" but drank it anyway! This became a running gag for most of the night..  |

I'm not doing justice to the brilliant banter and incredible vibe tonight..stoopid brain won't co-operate So I'll have to finish in the morning. An aside:They had sound issues tonight. :-/The sound guy was made to dance for stuffing up!  ooow..we also heard another a capella ND...  that's three times now! |

aaww bugga Trilly, of course it had to happen in the wet....something about Murphy's Law thank you so much for coming on after that rotten breakdown  hhmmm I know a few s who could have joined in on that tequila session Really glad show-wise was wonderful and definitely commiserations |

Aww Trilly You'd think your car was suffering from too many late nights! Maybe it was going out in sympathy for you! Grand piano..Alone and Lilac Wine *sigh..sounds divine  I still haven't heard Goodnight..but from all accounts it's divine too! |
