OMG, I've never been soooo tired Sorry I haven't been able to get on much, life at home has been a bit hectic too. Trilly, I'm glad you got home safely, what a night to get car trouble. As Trilly said it was a great night again last night, it was so lovely seeing everyone, Damien was awesome as usual, great set list, I was thrilled to hear Alone Goodnight, Nessun Dorma, Never Meant To Fail , Lilac Wine and all the others. The venue staff were excellent and very helpful and accomodating, I can't wait for tonights show

Thanks Trilly and Princess for the reports. Sounds like another great night . I love the way D can keep up the spontaneous "running gag/comments" throughout a show. Trilly hope getting car fixed is not too much of a hassle.

I am feeling tired trying to keep up with you and your concerts. Tell me something if you can. Trilly and Princey (maybe Di) have you been to EVERY concert D has had in Victoria since he won Idol? I am thinking that you have, but I would like it confirmed. Great work if it is so. I am not counting corporate/private gigs, but ones where you have to buy tickets for that the general public can go to. Thanks for the reports again, I hope you are sleeping in this morning ready for tonight. Trilly, I hope your poor car gets sorted out. Maybe it had a headache from trying to get to all the detinations and it didn't like the rain

Yep, me too Braffster. ;DHave not missed one..yet. *crosses fingers* s to Princey. The car is still in sickbay so it's a cab tonight..booked already. Actually, I think it got fed up with not being driven much lately. If I'm partying, I don't usually drive, but last night it was impossible to get a cab for love nor money without pre-booking. so..only one glass of red bwhaha!

A couple of last thoughts about last night. Capers is an extraordinary venue. The lighting and the piano and the large stage, plus the ambience make it ideal for D. The owner loves him, and once again introduced him as " that lovely guy and true talent, Mr Damien Leith." (I've also spoken to the owner of Wellers and she says the same thing, completely unprompted. So did the staff at The Regent. They reckon that some performers are wonderful on stage but divas backstage. D is described as "wonderful to work with") Makes ya proud, doesn't it? ) Crowd was quite young last night also. 30/40 somethings, mainly, and like many of D's gigs, lots of manly Dlurrrrve! one last thing..At the very end of the gig, D smiled and said "can you all hear that rain on the roof?" It was bucketing down. "It reminds me of home in Ireland. I love it" awwwwww.

Thanks for the reports guys! Sounds like another funtarstic show! Was it a shorter show? It seems like there were less songs. Doesn't he usually do about 17? Ah, Alone, I'd love to hear that. I heard it at Swoon City but it was pretty much the same as the album version so I don't really remember it. Was it different to the album version this time? Wow, what dedicated Damienites you are to have been to all of D's Vic shows (and more)!

Aw I think Damien misses Ireland a lot... especially this time of year. I know it's raining back in my home town, there's voices singing loudly in the bars and all around...
