Indeed none of the Idol alumni were invited to perform in Sydney or Melbourne. I was a little surprised, I thought Damien, Guy & Shannon would have fitted in rather well with the likes of Coldplay, Kings Of Leon etc. Was this the music industry snubbing Aussie Idol again?  |

Damien couldn't be there Sunshine, he's in Ireland right now and then he goes to the US to record his new album, don't know about the other idols though  |

Thanks Princess, you can tell I haven't been on the board for a while, I'm very out of touch with the Damien news LOL  As for "Soundrelief", by far the best two acts were Midnight Oil and The Presets.  |

if you look at www.chuggentertainment.com/ and www.frontiertouring.com.au/ dont think any idol features. Nothing to be read into the absence of Damien et al.. its just that they dont have any connection with the idol alumni as you call it. was a great concert the bits i saw on telly |

I soooo wanted to go to the Melbourne gig, the line-up was absolutely awesome. (Clashed with previous plans, bugger!  ) looks like they had a fantastic crowd, even though the weather wasn't the best - RAIN, finally! It would have been even better if D was there, but alas, he had previous plans too.  |

Spud, it was the huge concerts put on in Sydney & Melbourne over the weekend to help raise money for the bushfire & flood victims

some of the proceeds were also going to the Flood victims in Qld too.
Wish I'd been able to see this, they sounded like fantastic concerts. The concerts will be out on DVD.
