You've got such a winner on your hands!
You were so right, this is such a bigger sound, and it's different from what you've done before, yet still completely you! I was worried when you said it was a bigger sound that you might get slightly drowned-out by everything else, but it's the opposite - we hear more of you somehow, which is definitely what we want

What really blew me away was the song writing! The songs had a kind of organic shape to them, the way they progressed - they didn't take predictable routes, I was constantly being surprised by what I heard next. On top of that they were so catchy, and had such a strong sense of story - I found myself listening to the lyrics and thinking 'yeah, I can relate to that'.

Meant to tell you that last night, but you were kind of busy ;D
But I can totally honestly say that the album is BRILLIANT - love all your originals, from the ones you recorded years ago to the songs on WWL, and these are no exception - in fact, they are even better. We knew it would be unbelievable - and you've exceeded all expectations

I am totally blown away by your generosity to us all. You really are a very special man.

Remember June is everything I'd hoped it would be and MORE! You have every right to be so proud of it. It's such a well crafted album with beautifully written songs. Your lyrics are incredibly image invoking-the story is there- we will all soon get to listen to it again (and again) and we will then find everything you put into it -the only "down" feeling I have from Wednesday night was that we were only skimming the surface of this amazing album with one listen.

Your good friend Stuie is a hoot! He charmed us all as well! How's it going man? Thanks Stuie for embracing the madness that is the Damienites with such gusto! You make a VERY good Damienite yourself...welcome to the club!!

I'm trying so hard not to use hyperbole here.. but it's almost impossible. I will always Remember August!!! (oh dear very bad pun!! )

I haven't posted in this thread yet because I just can't form any coherent words about the experience that was teh Damienite "Remember June" Preview Listening Party. I am still feeling very emotional about the whole evening! (or is it just that my life is very emotional atm...lol!)
