Last time for CTW I bought from JB Hi Fi, Sanity, Virgin and K Mart. So all were on separate dockets. I will do the same again this time.    Thanks for finding that out Carla, I wondered too I'll be buying seperate copies too, I don't care how many times I go in and out of the stores ;D |

Just remember, for a retailer, it shouldn't be any problem to put things on multiple dockets (so long as you don't do TOO many ;D) Two or three, no argument.

Okay I will do my best to resist not buying it if I see it in stores before the 9th. ;D
JB is just around the corner from where I work so it will be one trip there at lunchtime and then another in the evening. ;D

Okay I will do my best to resist not buying it if I see it in stores before the 9th. ;D JB is just around the corner from where I work so it will be one trip there at lunchtime and then another in the evening. ;D How horrible to think the album will be out there and we can't take him it home!!! I know it will be absolute torture to leave it at the store afterwards... but before the 9th October, you can request to preview the cd's in the store... they often have listening posts. I think I'd be chaining myself to the post at closing time though! (anyone for pole dancing??  ) |

Why don't they put an embargo on the album until the 9th? I know CTW was on sale earlier than release date and when I queried it with one store they said that if it had an embargo on it then it wouldn't have been put out until then.

Also, why has this date been moved up? There's a David Bowie Anniversary Collection being released that same day as well as Guy's album, which the single has been received really well (and D's single's not out for ages yet! )

Oz...yes, if you buy it online it does count towards the charts.
As for the date change, I am not sure Smiles. The info wasn't really volunteered, so I figured I would leave it.
They usually have their reasons, but in this case, not sure what is it.
