Sunday Herald Sun readers have had their say. They want fresh new faces to host this year's Logie Awards.

According to the results of this page's online poll, readers want TV funnyman Dave Hughes to host this year's event.
Hughes was the runaway readers' choice, earning 20 per cent of the vote. Adam Hills was the readers' second choice, just in front of former Logies host Andrew Denton.

The poll is good news for Logies organisers who have flagged a "youth" theme for this year's event.

In keeping with the young faces theme, Australian Idol winner Damien Leith is the latest star confirmed as performing at the Logies.

Leith joins UK singer James Morrison and US singer Kelly Clarkson as part of the entertainment on the evening.

NCIS star Michael Weatherly will attend the awards as a guest of Channel 10.

Kelly Clarkson, James Morrison and Damien. Should be a good night. I don't see why Damien can't provide all the entertainment for the night, though. ;D

And yes, Kelly was the first American Idol winner and probably the most successful.

I agree with all that talent who wouldn't watch forget the awards just put D out in front all night!!!

I am looking forward to it. I usually watch it. Some years have been better than others. This one should be GREAT.
