Unfortunately RJ has slipped out of the Top 50 albums chart! At this rate, it's going to be Damien's worst selling album! My advice to him: release the 2nd single immediately, and it better be a good one, something that radio can get behind. Guy's album debuts at #6 - not bad, although he might have expected better, but the new Michael Jackson CD debuted at #2(so that wouldn't have helped the competition). www.ariacharts.com.au/pages/charts_display.asp?chart=1G50

In terms of releasing a second single, I don't think its going to matter how 'good' it is, there seem to be a lot of prejudices that are restricting Damien's music from getting radio play. He needs radio play or a lot of other exposure to sell this album. Congrats to Guy, thats a great debut....it should be, he has two singles on heavy rotation on the radio at the moment. What great exposure, magnificently timed for the album release. And on the subject of timing, does anyone here really think that it is up to Damien as to when he releases his next single?

That is so unfair.... ditto to everything winter said... Cannot fathom how D's best album by far hasn't got the response it deserves... perhaps because his best single so far hasn't got the airplay it deserves

We can be justifiably furious at Austereo and Nova for their continuing boycott of Damien. I've listened to both 2DAYFM and NOVA this weekend, and I don't think I heard TGTY once, while in comparison they're flogging to death some truly mediocre crap(like that Vanessa Amarossi song). Good on MIX for continuing to play Damien's songs, but alas they are a low rating FM station(so their airplay has zero influence on the charts).

Sunshine, can I ask, have you been ringing the stations and requesting To Get To You?

Just ridiculous chart figures when RJ is one of the best albums of the year.

It's ridiculous and so very unfair. It's definitely Damien's best work, but if no-one hears it, how can it sell? and Sunny, I agree with Winter and have said it before, the timing of the next release (if there is one) would not be Damien's choice.

Thats really sad, if Damien got the airplay he so deserved RJ would be higher in the charts for sure, I'm keeping the faith that it hangs around for a bit longer
