Did anyone see Damien and the others on this show last night? I'd fallen asleep in front of the late news and woke to see Chris Murphy talking at the end of the segment. I didn't know they were going to be on. How long were they on for and did anyone else say anything? I am surprised I didn't wake up to Damiens voice.....

I was out last night and missed it Saw a thread at the Idol forums started by John Forman where he said the top 4 idols would be on his show tonight (last night) so it would have been good.

Yes, I managed to just catch it! John asked each of the Idols a question (they were all sitting on a couch). Jess was cute and giggly and talked about her wish to start songwriting. Dean talked about how all the attention he is getting was great at first but is now getting a little tiring. He also got asked another question first, but really cant remember! D talked a little about what happens after Idol, its all a bit unkown, he referred to getting "released" - funny Chris was the class clown/ life of the party (in a good way), interacting with the audience. Talked about what it was like at the Arias when Rob Hirsch from Midnight Oil made a jab at "get famous quick" TV contestants. Then he talked about the fact that he hasnt got famous quick, hes done 15 hard years. Possibly he forgot Jess and Dean were sitting on the couch next to him D came across as a very down to earth, friendly guy. And he wore my favourite shirt. And had stubble *girly squee* favourite shirt:

Ah thanks winterlong, it sounds like it was good!
Getting 'released' - lol.
I thought that was so ungracious at the Arias to say that line about getting famous quick - particularly as he knew very well the idols were sitting right there and had no right of reply. And espec. when so many of this year's contestants have been doing the hard yards for years. The Oils have been successful for years, there's room in the industry for other people who want to have a successful career too! There's room for all types of music.
