BTW, my last concert was in Ballina August 2008 ... so I have been very patient ... not wanting to wish my life away  Now, here is one for the books, believe it or not! My DH (who I believe is a DLO member) is very anxious to attend this one! We were down that way a few months ago and he asked about D concerts. Then early last month, we were there again and he was reading one of the local papers when he came across an ad for D at the RSL.  I played the whole thing down! Last Monday, after DH delivered my early morning cup of tea to my computer station, he, just stood there and said, "Damien is on next w'end at Ballina RSL" To which I replied, after thanking him for the tea, "Yes, Saturday." He simply stood there expecting me to add something ... I let it slide Finally, I had to confess that I had bought some tickets   To cut a long story short, we are heading to Ballina Friday, nice and early for Saturday. Although, I do suspect he has another motive  So, in answer to your question, Braff, Roseapple will not be going ... someone has to mind the kids ... lol |

Oz, I have bought tickets for my sister and her son to go to this gig! She is pretty excited, he is going under sufferance a bit.... but I am sure he will enjoy it more than he anticipates, particularly the guitar!! My sis is a petite blonde and my nephew is average height, quite skinny, with dredlocks so he will probably be easily noticed!! If you see them, you can let me know if it looks like he is enjoying himself!!  Have a great night and hope your DH enjoys himself too!! |
